As part of the Great Place to Work ® competition, Allgäu Battery has already been recognized several times as one of the best employers in the Allgäu, Bavaria and Germany! But what is it all about?
THE COMPETITION
The Great Place to Work® research and consulting institute analyzes and evaluates the workplace culture of companies. Among other things, the topics of agility, change capability, innovation, leadership and health play a role. Every year, particularly excellent employers are also recognized for their performance at international, national, regional and industry-specific level.
THE METHOD
The basis for assessing workplace culture is, on the one hand, an anonymous employee survey in which employees rate various points in their company from their point of view. At the same time, personnel measures are analyzed as part of a management survey.

Allgäu Batterie takes part in the employer competition every 2nd year and has already been awarded for the third time! In 2022, we were once again among the best employers in Bavaria (4th place) and in the Allgäu region (1st place). In 2022, we were also recognized for the first time nationwide (6th place) as one of the best employers in the small SME sector. Why are we particularly proud of this? Because feedback from our own employees led to this rating.
AND WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
Since the company was founded in 1994, Allgäu Batterie has relied on trusting cooperation between management and employees in order to achieve the company’s goals together. At the same time, the familiar and fair interaction within the company forms the basis for good and long-term cooperation with business partners on the supplier and customer side. The Great Place to Work result demonstrates the high value we place on the well-being of our employees. It also provides valuable insights into where we can do even better.
