In May 2021, Allgäu Batterie and ALLithium received quality and environmental management certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015. The globally recognized certifications are proof of the culture of continuous development and improvement that is practiced in both companies. Thus, strategies and processes have always been continuously reflected and further developed in order to achieve the highest level of product and service quality as well as operational environmental protection.

QUALITY & PERFORMANCE ACCORDING TO ISO 90001

The ISO 9001 standard is an internationally known, industry-neutral standard that specifies requirements for a company’s quality management. The basic prerequisite is that the company management sets up quality management strategically and implements it systematically.

At the same time, there must be an apparent structure within the company that clearly shows the tasks and responsibilities for individual departments, and this must be documented in writing. Furthermore, the standard requires a continuous development process (CIP) to achieve long-term success.

By considering and adhering to ISO 9001 quality management principles, Allgäu Batterie and ALLithium not only improve business performance. At the same time, the requirements of the customers are fulfilled in the best possible way, which are at the center of the company’s activities. Because for both companies, the optimal solution for the customer has always been the top priority.

SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT ACCORDING TO ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is a globally recognized standard for corporate environmental management systems. The goal of the standard is to promote environmental protection, reduce environmental impact and implement environmental goals. Environmental management also plays a central role in corporate environmental protection.

Therefore, according to ISO 14001, the first step is to take stock of the various activities within a company that have an impact on the environment. These are then evaluated, from which specific environmental goals are derived and an action plan for achieving them is drawn up. Continuous reflection on the processes is also an elementary component in the implementation of these in order to be able to make optimizations.

Ecological considerations are particularly important for companies in the energy technology sector. For this reason, Allgäu Batterie and ALLithium pursue an optimal environmental management system according to ISO 14001 with sustainable corporate management and the conscious use of resources in order to keep the ecological footprint as small as possible in all aspects.
